Frequently asked questions

How do I record a meeting?

Open the Record tab and tap the microphone to record an in-person or phone meeting live, or tap Import Audio to bring in an existing recording. To capture a virtual call (Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex, or Slack), choose Record a Virtual Meeting and paste the link — a notetaker bot joins and records it for you.

Do I need everyone's consent to record?

Yes. Recording laws vary by location and many require the consent of everyone in the conversation. FlowScribe shows a consent reminder before each recording. Obtaining any required consent before you record is your responsibility.

How is my meeting transcribed and analyzed?

Your audio is transcribed by AssemblyAI, and the transcript is analyzed by OpenAI to produce a summary, key points, decisions, action items, and risks. Everything is stored securely in your account and only accessible to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account. To view, change, or cancel a plan, open the iOS Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → FlowScribe AI. You can also reach this from the App's Settings → Subscription → Manage.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the App, go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. This permanently removes your account and all of your meetings, recordings, transcripts, and connections. This cannot be undone.

I didn't receive my confirmation email.

Check your spam/junk folder first. Make sure you opened the confirmation link on the same device where you signed up. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, email us at support@flowscribe.org and we'll help.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, use the password-reset option and follow the link sent to your email. If you have trouble, contact support@flowscribe.org.

Which languages does the app support?

The interface is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Armenian, and Russian. You can switch languages anytime in Settings → Language; the change applies immediately.

How do I export to Jira, Notion, Slack, or Google Docs?

Connect the service in Settings → Integrations, then open a meeting and choose the export/post option. Your meeting content is only sent to that service when you connect it and start an export.
